What's The Latest Scuttlebutt for 2011?
Your all volunteer staff and supporters of D-Day Ohio have been
quite busy preparing for the 2011 event firming up the new and exciting
additions to our program. News of great interest is that negotiations are underway
towards the purchase of
two Higgins boats, same as what was on site in 2010, the confirmation of the
third, the appearance of a German Stuka, more coordinated pyro-techniques,
additional activities for our Veterans and the
continuance of the challenge coin program. The 2011 coin features naval
forces of Exercise Tiger and D-Day and will be available at the beginning of May.
Also in the works are commemorative shoulder
patches, limited edition posters and photography, Victory Garden Seeds and much more.
